When Dan left Ballarat for day at Warrnambool yesterday, he was confident all of his runners would perform well, and that they did. Dame Dietrich was a very eye-catching run, after missing the start by several lenghts she stormed home in the final stages to run third. Then Jameson Aich and Struckbylightning were next to line up, both putting in honest runs to run third and fifth respectively. The last race of the day saw Belle of Storms line up over 1400m – Dan had been itching to get her out over a bit more ground and his instincts paid off. She was left alone out in front and that's where she stayed, notching up her third career win. Just don't expect to get big odds for any of those horses next start!
