Great to have Fine Embers back in the winner’s stall today.
The seven year old, by Mount Nelson hadn’t won since August 2016, but has been racing consistently in tougher class races lately.
Affectionately known as Frankie around our stables, we’ve included jumping in his routine, which he really enjoys and may just be the key to his better efforts of late.
The soft track and drop back in grade and a patient ride from Damian Lane was the perfect recipe for him to win in convincing style.
