The team’s day just got even better when Near Queue was triumphant in the last at Geelong today.
A new addition to our stable this preparation, little “Queuey” has adapted well to the Ballarat lifestyle and the special attention received here at Dan O’Sullivan Racing. She is easily stressed and can get busy in her yard so all measures are taken to keep this filly calm so she doesn’t use all her energy off the racetrack.
She has shown promise, having won two races previously in South Australia and was unlucky to miss out on the win first up here in Victoria. With our Lucy Doodt out of the saddle at present, she was ridden by apprentice Chelsea Hall who did a good job to find a clear run at the very last moment!
Congratulations to all connections, in particular the Rorrison Family who now have several horses with our team. It’s fantastic to get our first winner for you, and here’s hoping it’s the beginning of many more.
