Two little, but determined ladies reunited today to put another win on board at Geelong.
It’s a step in front for a trainer when they’re sending a horse to the races that you know put in 110% every time they step out and little Pria Eclipse is certainly one of those. Early days she raced at bit too keenly and lost her way when cornering but maturity has seen her settle just enough in her races to ensure she is strong to the line.
Our apprentice Lucy Doodt, who has also really evolved as a rider lately, was thrilled to get back on board “her princess” this afternoon and proved her worth with another perfect ride.
Congratulations to the Cockerell & Wescombe families, especially Darryl who finally got to witness her win in the flesh!
She’s going for a well earned spell now, and we can’t wait to get her back in a couple of months for more fun racing over the winter months.
