A long trip to Swan Hill yesterday paid off with the ever-reliable Theraceison taking the honours in race 8. With the recent tragic passing of co-owner Les Simmons, connections were hoping a little extra help from above would ensure their victory, and their wishes came true. Les was an enthusiastic racegoer and he would've been thrilled to see the consistent 5 year old gelding take out his 3rd career win. Theraceison jumped quickly from his inside barrier and was given a terrific front-running ride from Dean Yendall. His next run is likely to be at his home track of Ballarat over 1600m again on the 10th September.
