We love racing at our home track here at Ballarat, and so does Elite Tiger, with him notching his fourth win at this venue and making it seven career wins for his connections.
Stepping up to 1600m was the query, having no luck over the trip prior, but Dan was quietly confident that would change, being at a good stage in his preparation and maturity on his side.
It was a quality field for a Benchmark 78 and our apprentice Lucinda Doodt gave him the perfect ride as well as relief at the weights. “She rode him so well to win last start, so I had no doubts Lucy would get the job done again today. She’s working hard and I hope more trainers put her on now” Dan said proudly of Lucy post race.
Elite Tiger races in the colours of the Kolora Noorat Football and Netball Club and it was terrific to see most of his owners on course to cheer him home again.
