The quiet acheiver of the stable saluted for his maiden win at Stawell today. Late Night Drink slipped under the rader and nabbed his more fancied opponents right on the line in a busy photo finish.
After giving him a gun ride in the one out and one back position, Billy Egan edged Late Night Drink out on the corner. After a few quiet flicks with the whip, the pair accelerated strongly down the middle of the track to record a satisfying victory.
