After Theraceison put in a disappointing run last Saturday at Murtoa, Dan, Dean Yendall and his owners were all left scratching their heads. It is very out of character for him not to give his best, and it is also out of character for him to recover as well as he did afterwards, so with that in mind and a clean bill of health from the vets, Dan entered him for Ballarat yesterday. That entry paid off, with the rain softening the track and the lead given to him, he controlled the race throughout and was very impressive running away from his opposition in the finish. This is Theraceison's third win this preparation and Dan is hoping he can maybe even head to the city and the Ballarat Cup in the next couple of months. "We have a couple of ratings based races in town marked and also the Ballarat Cup over 2000m if he continues to race well, but we'll take him one race at a time for now".
