Her name is Shilajit, Pronounced “Sheila-jeet”. Shilajit is a supplement found mainly in the rocks of the Himalayas and is said to benefit a person’s overall wellbeing. Now that we know what it is, think I’ll be giving it a try.
Our Shilajit is a three year old filly who won her first race at her third start over 1400m at Ballarat today. Owned by Dr Tan who resides in Singapore, it was recommended by his usual trainer and Dan’s old boss, John Sadler, that she come to Ballarat for our peaceful, calm surroundings.
“She’s a bit hot this one!” Dan said. “She is certainly improving with age, and each campaign, and Dr Tan has been very understanding with regards to giving her time”.
We think she will be a filly that will improve as she steps up in distance so we will strive for some good fillies races over the spring with her.
