Warrick the Wonder Horse – officially known as Aurelius Hero – has done it again, winning at (yes you guessed it!) Donald over 1200m!
It is very well known how popular this lovely fellow has been with all of our team over the years, so we were all very proud to see him notch up win number 10 today.
As lovely as he is, he is becoming a little bit cunning in his old age, so he needed the help from another “old” boy, in Jack Hill (that’s a joke Jack) to ensure he had his mind on the job from the moment the barriers opened.
The race worked out perfectly, with them sitting just off the lead, tucked away on the fence until the business stage of the race when the found a gap and took off down the straight.
Congratulations to his wonderful crew of owners, who adore him just as much as we do!
