The team had a successful trip to Horsham on Sunday with Active winning his debut by leading from barrier to winning post in the 1100m 3 year old maiden.
He is very well named, being “Active” in every way and somewhat of a project for Dan and the team. Having always shown potential, it has just been a matter of the penny dropping for him.
Thankfully his owners, captained by Paul Crawford, have been racing horses for many years and understand the patience required.
It was a big thrill for Dan to get a winner for the Crawford Family, our association dates back twenty years and they are simply wonderful people to race with.
