Elite Tiger’s win today on the Ballarat Synthetic Track makes it another double for Dan and Lucy.
One of our stable stalwarts over the past few years, this fellow actually had a lack lustre preparation last time around, a lot of it the result of bad luck. Mindful of his age, Dan and managing owners Brian and Ged Justin decided to give him an extended spell and a chance to turn the tables.
He has a quirky personality but once you work him out he’s rather straight forward. He also likes the track to be soft but not too wet so the synthetic is ideal for him.
“His first up effort was very good, so we went into today’s race with quite a bit of confidence” Dan reported “And if there’s any positive about his previous preparation it’s that he dropped down in rating and he’s now racing in easier company again”.
A perfect ride from Lucy, making it six winners for her in four days.
