Our stable clown, Fine Evader, affectionately known as Rusty may finally be growing up – now that he’s six!

Yesterday he delivered his second win this preparation, this time over 2200m.  Jamie Mott, who has ridden him several times now got him to settle well then timed his run to perfection.

“It’s terrific to see him racing consistently, staying sound and giving a tough, honest effort” a proud Dan reported. “He fought off Miss Mumazara then the fast finishing Yulong Success, a Weir/Allen combination, which is no easy task”.

There to greet him at the winner’s stall, as always, was our Nikki and Frank and Lesley Monish. Another big congratulations to them!

Here’s hoping he can continue onwards and upwards!
