Blunakka is certainly the man of the moment after winning again at Ararat today.
He jumped a little slow but he and Jarrod Lorensini tracked into the race nicely, settling just off the leaders prior to the home turn. It was concerning knowing he was carrying 60.5kg’s but it showed a great turn of foot down the straight and ended up winning in convincing style.
“I think I said at his last outing he is looking for the mile (1600m) and today proved what he can do. He’s a pleasure to have around the stables and it’s pleasing to get a win for his owners who bought him on my word”. Dan reported.
