It's always a good day for Dan if he can return to his hometown for the day and produce a winner. So yesterday it was even more of a thrill to have a win for the locally bred and owned Elite Tiger.
"He was first up yesterday and he had been working really well so I knew he'd go quite well but to be honest I thought he might need the run". Dan said.
After admitting he didn't ride his best earlier in the day, Ryan Maloney made up for that and kept his timing to perfection.
Congratulations to all the owners, lead by The Justin Family. His next run will be on Terang Cup Day so I'm sure there'll be a roar in the crowd if he hits the front again!
