Promising 3yo, Madica's Pleasure stepped out at Geelong yesterday for the first time this preparation, and finally produced some "pleasure" winning in strong fashion.
The gelding by Alannan is owned by local Ballarat businessman, Tim Porter, a strong supporter of racing and in particular, Ballarat trainers. You may have noticed a trend with Tim's horses in that most of them include the name, Madica – a combination of his daughter's names, Maddy & Jessica.
Madica's Pleasure has come close on two other occassions, giving Dan and Tim indication that there'll be some fun times in store and after his quite convincing win yesterday, it's looking that way!
