Three year old Aristotle gelding, Beer Garden, broke through his maiden yesterday taking out the 1600m Ballarat Come to Life Maiden Plate. With two runners in the race, which Dan prefers to avoid, and with Beer Garden recovering from a recent foot abscess he was slightly leaning towards giving the other filly a better chanceof winning, but all went Beer Garden's way. It was great for this bunch of owners, some of which had no success with his half sister Tuscan Valley. Dan believes he will get better over more ground and will step him up as he sees fit.
