After three second placings in four career starts, Ripleys broke his bridesmaid status with a convincing win at Donald yesterday. The three year old gelding by Monde Bleu took advantage of the good barrier draw, good track conditions and a good ride by Jarrod Fry. Ripleys is raced by a good fun group, headed by Tony Love, who had successful times with the handy galloper Yappa, so it was great for Dan to reward their loyalty in getting this fellow over line.
