Easter Chocolates from Inaura

Apr 9, 2012

This weekend  had Dan travelling to South Australia on Saturday for the famous Oakbank Easter Carnvial.  The best he could do there was third place, but a terriffic day was had by all involved enjoying the spectacle, sunshine and facilitesdelivered by the Oakbank Racing Club.

In true Dan fashion, it was up early Sunday for drive back to Stawell, where he saddled up several good chances.

With not much going right for the majority of the day, it wasn't until the second last race when his reward for effort came to fruition with Inaura.

Dan has a lot of admiration for this filly, who isn't the best horse he's trained, but has what we all want in our horses, a positive, never give up attitude.

Congratulations to his connections, our good mates The Calthorpes and the Hammond and Arrowsmith families.  Go the Purple Colours!!!
