Annie's a Gem gave Dan a terrific start to the year with his first runner being a winner. First up this preparation, Dan set Annie for the race at Terang giving her owners, The Justin's and the The Scanlon's a home town win…..It was great for Dan too, winning at "home" with family there to share the thrill! She didn't jump the quickest but Paul Marks found a lovely spot to settle into and on straightening she let go very well winning by two and a half lenghts. Dan will ease her up in grade and possibly distance and is confident there are a few wins to look forward to.
Berkeley Square Back In Form
Which Cup has Berkeley Square's name on it this season? That is the question Dan now has to ask after his stable star's second win this spring on Saturday. Is it the $500,000 Geelong Cup in just over two weeks? Or maybe the $750,000 Moonee Valley Cup two days later...
