Jameson Aich finally broke through his maiden win yesterday at Ararat after knocking on the door for quite a while. The lovely three year old colt, by Tuscanos, was showing Dan that he would appreciate more ground, and he was proven right winning over 2000m in the Boag's Draught Maiden Plate. Dan has taken his time with Jameson, and his owner, Howard Franz, has been very patient and understanding trusting that his waiting would pay off. With great racing and good prizemoney over the Summer Racing Carnival, Dan has his eye set on the 2200m Tasmian Derby on the 30th January.
