Yesterday's racing taking took us "just down the road" to Ararat to see three year old filly, Kisachi win race 4 in easy fashion.  Kisachi, who was having her seventh career start, has mostly been racing from wide barriers, but a change in luck with the draw and her handling the heavy condtions turned her form right around.  She is owned by local Ballarat businessman Danny Molloy and his family and John and Elizabeth Mortensen, who have been very patient since their last winner, Dalizan in 2009.  Let's hope little Kisachi doesn't make them wait that long again!
