Three year old filly, Touch Too Much scored in the Responsible Gambling fillies and mares maiden plate over 1600m yesterday at Ballarat. Touch Too Much has been racing in some very good company of late and has always held her own despite drawing wide barriers and forced to race further back than suited each time. Dan went into yesterday's race confident that the drop back in grade would finally give her the win everyone has been waiting for – "It wasn't the perfect scenario dropping her back in distance, but with the race at Ballarat looking the most suitable for her, I was pretty sure her natural ability would get her over the line in that field". Dan will most likely run her in a mid-week at Sandown next, and hopefully get a city win on the board for her Adelaide connections.
Yesterday's win was also a very exciting day for staff member Nathan Bull, who after nearly two years with Dan O'Sullivan Racing, finally strapped his first winner for the team – with the monkey off his back we're expecting him to lead a few more into the winners stall soon!!!
