Song Brocade ends the year on a winning note
It has certainly been a testing year for many, but we’re sure all of our horse racing colleagues will agree how lucky we have all been to continue racing throughout the Covid 19 Pandemic.
To have been able to keep our fantastic team in a job has been a privilege and we are extremely thankful and proud of the way they have conducted themselves to ensure our industry remains free from positive cases.
With most people happy to see the end of 2020, in the hope that 2021 brings a return to normality, we are staying focused on the positives.
Song Brocade delivered us another positive at Echuca today, winning over 1600m in strong fashion.
This big girl doesn’t quite race up to her track work promises, but we think we have worked her out to some extent in keeping her reasonably fresh so she can save her best work for race day.
Jarrod Fry gave her a peach of a ride, settling back in the field and then peeling out around the turn.
Congratulations to Dr Tan who has been extremely patient with this mare. We really like bringing home winners for our fantastic owners!
