Sort Of Speedy Goonzales

Sep 16, 2017

The Geelong Synthetic track has been a happy hunting ground for us of late, with Goonzales delivering the goods there yesterday.

Goonzales joined our team late last year, but this is his first full preparation with us.  He has a lovely nature so is one of those horses that everyone likes.  He indicates that he will appreciate more ground in the future, so to have him win over 1300m is a real credit to our team.

A terrific ride from the always entertaining Noel Callow, who has given us excellent feedback and advice with this fellow.

Congratulations to his owners, it’s great to have the colours of the Rorrison Family in the winner’s stall again!
