Wise Legend delivered a commanding performance to take out Race 3—the Global Turf BM64 Handicap—at Ballarat, stamping himself as horse ready to continue through his grades.
Wise Legend entered the race as a well-supported runner, having shown consistent form in recent starts. Breaking smartly from barrier three, under John Allen, he settled comfortably in the early stages before unleashing a powerful finishing burst in the final 300 metres. His acceleration down the straight left rivals scrambling, with All In Vain and The Printer trailing behind as Wise Legend surged to a decisive win.
The victory was particularly sweet for his owner, Wendy Daniels, who has nurtured the gelding’s development through maiden and benchmark grades.
