Charming win from Bavarian Lady

Charming win from Bavarian Lady

At her fourth career start, our little, sassy Bavarian Lady won her maiden at Murtoa yesterday.

Just missing out last start, and under the guidance of under-rated senior jockey Jarrod Lorensini, it was very special to have these colours return to the winner’s stall for the first time for our stable.

Bavarian Lady is out of handy mare, Charmed Lady, who was raced by Coombes Family – well known and loved characters of Victorian horse racing. Ray Coombes isn’t in the best of health, so he didn’t renew his trainer’s licence this year.  We were thrilled to be able to offer shares in this girl along with Ray, Eileen and Deon and it is very fitting that she wears their colours!

She is only little, but she has plenty of attitude!
